God’s redemption has both past, present and future impact on the world and our own individual lives. Passover, when this redemption was won and affirmed, is a special key to understanding this impact, which is why Danish-Jewish Friendship would like to invite your congregation to participate in a Passover Seder. With the Bible and Jewish Passover traditions in mind, we will learn about these past, present and future aspects of Passover.
You need to gather a team to prepare the relatively simple dishes (recipes can be obtained from DJF) and notify DJF’s representative in Jerusalem, Dan Herron, that you would like him to come and lead the Passover Seder. Depending on the number of participants, amount of food, etc. the meal can be prepared for an average price of DKK 50-100 per person.
The Seder lasts about two to two and a half hours in all, including eating the main meal, which is a festive part of the Seder.
Dates: We know that people are busy during Easter, so we are available in the week running up to the Easter vacation.
We look forward to diving into the message of Passover together with your congregation!
